266-270 Pulteney St
A split building comprising a single pressure zone, pump fed, 11 storey hotel with adjoining 7 storey townsmain fed, sinlge pressure zone office building.
DCI Data
A high level data server centre featuring both wet and dry pipe systems.
Optus Exchange
A retrofit job where 3D scanners were used to map the building. Design was then done over these scans in Revit to produce a full 3D system coordinated with the extensive existing services.
Loxton Hotel
An extension to the Loxton hotel including and upgrade of the sprinkler system to a fully pumped system.
SA Tennis Centre
Multi-purpose building comprising both stadium and conference rooms and facilities at the South Australian memorial drive tennis centre.
Vibe Hotel
High end hotel featuring dual pressure zones and specialised 2nd fix to help compliment the architect’s vision.
Student Apartments (203 North Tce)
A 3-pressure zone, 34 storey building for international students. Built behind a heritage façade. This job involved working closely with the engineers and MFS to deliver a suitable system whilst working within heritage requirements.
Sofitel
A 33 storey mixed use building comprising, guest facilities, high end dining, conference rooms, hotel suites and permanent resident apartments. The first 5-star, internationally branded hotel in Adelaide in the last 30 years. The Sofitel provided a unique set of challenges. BFS worked closely with engineers to provide solutions to the buildings tight vertical riser spaces and condensed pump room to deliver the project with minimal on-site re-work.
Global Student Accommodation
A 3-pressure zone, 35 storey building for all international student needs.
Brougham Apartments
An 11 storey high end apartment building that re-defined luxury apartments in South Australia. We worked extensively with the architect to ensure the fire system was as discrete as possible, to maximise the buildings high end finish.
Metcash Storage Facility
A vast warehouse for the expanding Metcash brand. The system features Early Supression Fast Response storage sprinklers, office space and glycol systems for chilled ESFR areas.
Kent Relocations
A warehouse for removalist company comprising a pumped ESFR storage sprinkler system, together with a townsmain supplied hydrant system.
